Margaret completed her training as a paediatric Allergist/Immunologist in 2003 and since then has worked in private practice as well as hospital appointments at the Flinders Medical Centre and the Women’s and Children’s Hospital Allergy/Immunology Departments. Margaret has a special interest in eczema and asthma and as a locum paediatrician in Broken Hill has been involved in the setting up of an asthma clinic. She has had a decade of experience in general practice and enjoys working with young children and families.

Dr Terence Sheppard (B.Ec.,B.A. Psych. (Hons), PhD) is a psychologist. Following time in academia Terence has spent more than 30 years as a private consultant working in clinical and organisational settings focusing on child and adult mental health as well as leadership and safety in the workplace.

Laura Freer, is a specialist Paediatric Allergy Dietitian and Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with almost 20 years of experience supporting children and families across Adelaide. Laura offers individualised assessment, tailored advice, and ongoing support to help your child grow and thrive while managing food allergies and intolerances.

Dr Damien Chan, trained as a paediatric allergist at The University of Adelaide. He holds the degrees of Bachelor Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). He has practiced at Apple Tree Children’s Health since 2010.

Abigail completed her training at the Women’s & Children’s Hospital (SA) and Royal Children’s Hospital (Vic), qualifying as a paediatric allergist/immunologist in 2017. As well as consulting at apple tree CHILDREN’S HEALTH, she has a current hospital appointment at the Women’s & Children’s Hospital Allergy & Clinical Immunology department. She has a special interest in food allergy, eczema and allergic rhinitis. She believes in a holistic approach and enjoys forming long-lasting relationships with her patients.
